Abstract:
Plasma control system (PCS) is the key system of tokamak device, which controls the whole process of plasma discharge and provides the first level of safety protection for the device. Based on ELKB, an open-source real-time log management platform, Kafka, a messaging middleware, was introduced to design a log management system for PCS of CFETR (China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor). It solved the problem that the existing PCS log system was inconvenient to view the log information, and the information was miscellaneous and there was no data archiving, which implemented the functions of viewing key error information in PCS logs, querying the occurrence time of related errors, customizing search filtering conditions, viewing operation records by date, and persistent storage. The system has been successfully deployed and applied in EAST (Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak).
