A GROUPING MECHANISM TO IMPROVE HALOW NETWORK THROUGHPUT

  • 摘要: 如何在大连接的应用场景解决隐藏节点数量,减少竞争碰撞来提升各节点吞吐,是推动Halow在物联网应用的关键技术要求。结合802.11ah关键技术特点,采用信道衰落、吞吐量模型,提出一种新颖的E-RAW(Enhance-RAW)分组方法,基于RAW分组机制通过各节点SNR(Signal Noise Ratio)进行分组,再一次校验消除组内隐藏节点。通过性能对比仿真分析,该分组机制实现了系统网络总吞吐约40%的提升,隐藏终端数量减少20%以上。

     

    Abstract: Addressing the challenges of reducing hidden nodes and contention collisions in massive IoT connection scenarios to improve per-node throughput is critical for HaLow applications. This paper proposes an Enhanced Restricted Access Window (E-RAW) grouping method based on IEEE 802.11ah technical features, incorporating channel fading and throughput models. The mechanism grouped nodes by signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) under the RAW framework, followed by secondary verification to eliminate intra-group hidden nodes. Simulation results demonstrate approximately about 40% total network throughput improvement and over 20% reduction in hidden terminals compared to baseline methods.
