基于国产申威架构的pimpleFOAM求解器并行优化研究

PARALLEL OPTIMIZATION STUDY OF PIMPLEFOAM SOLVER BASED ON DOMESTIC SUNWAY ARCHITECTURE

  • 摘要: 面向SW26010Pro处理器,针对OpenFOAM中pimpleFOAM求解器进行移植优化。针对神威超算平台软件运行环境复杂的问题,提出一种新的编译方法;深度分析pimpleFOAM的热点函数,并从任务划分、矩阵存储、向量化以及光顺子方法等方面进行从核并行设计。同时,引入多项式迭代算法替换原始DICSmoother以实现并行化。选取不可压缩RAS和laminar中的经典算例和自制的smooth-9k算例进行实验,结果表明,该方案有非常好的优化效果。

     

    Abstract: This paper optimizes for porting the pimpleFOAM solver in OpenFOAM for SW26010Pro processor. Aimed at the complicated running environment of Sunway supercomputer platform software, a new compiling method was proposed. The hotspot function of pimpleFOAM was deeply analyzed, and the parallel design was carried out from the aspects of task partitioning, matrix storage, vectorization and smoother. At the same time, a polynomial iterative algorithm was introduced to replace the original DICSmoother for parallelization. We selected the classical examples in incompressible RAS and laminar and the self-made smooth-9k examples for experiments. The results show that the proposed scheme has a very good optimization effect.
