Abstract:
Vehicular ad- hoc networks (VANETs) provide diverse applications for vehicles through information sharing to ensure driving safety and comfort. Due to the open nature of in Vehicular ad- hoc networks, ensuring the security and privacy of vehicle information has become a major issue in the field of Vehicular ad- hoc networks. A series of authentication schemes have been proposed to secure inter- vehicle communication, but the security of vehicle keys is ignored by most schemes. Therefore, a certificate- based parallel key- insulated batch authentication scheme is proposed. The scheme adopted parallel key- insulated technique, incorporated online/offline mechanism, and introduced a batch authentication method. The scheme can achieve the unforgeability against adaptive- chosen message attacks and key- insulated secure under the random oracle model. Compared with recent schemes, the scheme has better performance.
